Dressmaking & Design (evening)

  • The Stitchery G3 7EF (map)

10 Week Course // Every Thursday, 7-9pm // Cost: £175 + Fabrics // Instructor: Cassandra Belanger // Pattern Selection Guide (pdf)

About This Course

This course is the ideal next step for those who have already taken the Sewing for Beginners course, or for anyone who already has a basic set of sewing skills.

The sessions are designed to teach you essential dressmaking techniques such as sleeves, darts, and specialty seems. A basic element of fashion design is established through pattern reading and alterations. Students apply these skills to making a garment using fabrics of their choice. Click here to have a look at the choice of garment patterns we offer to students taking this course.

"Your studio is so relaxing! I loved the whole course. It was my stress release from work every week" - Kathryn Lamont
