About This Course
This course is the ideal next step for those who have already taken the Sewing for Beginners course, or for anyone who already has a basic set of sewing skills.
The sessions are designed to teach you essential dressmaking techniques such as sleeves, darts, and specialty seems. A basic element of fashion design is established through pattern reading and alterations. Students apply these skills to making a garment using fabrics of their choice. Booking Your Place
To book your place on this course, you can use our online booking system below. You can pay a deposit of £10 or, if you prefer, pay the full course amount. You can pay by Paypal or any major credit/debit card. (Note that the booking system uses PayPal to process payments, but a PayPal account is not required. Simply select to pay by credit/debit card without registering at the PayPal page).
Choosing a Pattern to Make
When you come to make a booking, the online booking system will ask you to select which garment you would like to make on the course. Simply select your preferred pattern from the list; the booking system will notify us of your choice, and we can order your pattern in advance.
